How do I establish and start building credit, when it’s already bad?

Monday, 27. October 2008 21:12

building good credit
MedeivelReign asked:

I have never established credit, nor have I ever had a credit card. I would like to start building my credit to be good, however, I have a few debts (that I believe to be on my credit) like a $200 hospital bill and a few other things that I never paid… do I have to pay that stuff off before I can even get approved for a card? And how do I establish since (I’m pretty sure) my credit is already bad.

Friday, 24. October 2008 6:07

why good credit is important
George L asked:

what is the best way to make a business owner realize how important it is, to establish their business credit report with dun & bradstreet (even though they have to pay a few hundred bucks for thevalidation) even if they do not intend to use it for credit purposes?

everyone thinks that they can use their personal credit for their business, and feel that no one cares about d&b is this true?

Is it safer to copy paste important information, say credit card numbers rather than typing them?

Friday, 24. October 2008 5:38

DrAkE asked:

Especially when making an online transaction, because to the best of my knowledge almost all spyware and adware softwares can log key strokes,so by copy paste (from a saved text or any other file of course) can one avoid compromising valuable information like credit card numbers?
