What I did was get a secured credit card at my bank, that’ll help start some credit.
Once you get your credit score up, you can apply for regular credit cards.
Believe me this helps, I had zero credit what-so-ever, and they say that’s worse then bad credit.

you can open a bank account and get an ATM/VISA. If you do it that way, you won’t get in trouble maxing out your card cuz it comes straight out of your account. There’s also secured Visa or Mastercards for people trying to establish credit. Go online and do a search.

As a former credit card collections manager, i have one piece of advice for you. and i live by it myself. If you can’t afford to pay for it with your own money, you don’t need it. !! you will build your credit in other ways. Student loans, car loans etc…………..
